New initiative at IHMS!

The IHMS Students Making a Change (SMAC) Team will be focusing their social justice efforts on a new initiative this spring. They will be raising funds, and awareness, for neglected and abused dogs in Manitoba's northern communities. Last week we had a VERY special visit with representatives from the organization as well as some furry friends ... all adoptable pets waiting for their forever homes .

@k9advocacymanitoba is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 by First Nations Nurse Jasmine Colucci. The organization is devoted to assisting dogs in rural First Nation Communities with the on going problem of over population.
